Based on the exploring ruins that has set off around the world in recent years, it combines the architectural remains of the Japanese occupation period in Taiwan, the legend stories of the Japanese army and the local place Black Market. Through a 5-member team Beneath the Ruins who love the ruins exploration volunteer group.

Each mission triggers a series of unexplainable events. From 5 different ruins in Taiwan, the team experiences chilling encounters that reveal the stories behind these abandoned ruins  ghost spirits who are unaware of the long goneJapanese troops, the little girl who disappeared in the bathhouse…

These spine-chilling encounters give the team members insight into the stories behind the lingering spirits that remain within these ruins. The team members all concealed their past, wherever the ruins they go, yet they are drawn together by mysterious forces. What awaits them behind the  grass and decrepit doors? Are there only mysteries and dangers? Or,is it a second chance for redemption? Will they be able to face the shadows of their past again and unknown possibilities?
